Children's Ministry

IMG 3505Have you got children that you would like to bring to church? We run a specific programme just for children!

Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our children's workers are appointed through interview only, are DBS checked and have safeguarding training.

We want the children to have great fun whilst learning more about Jesus and meeting with Him.

Sunday Mornings

The children join in the main worship for the first 30 minutes or so, before going to their groups.

Sparks (aged 0-2 years)

IMG 1581Sparks is currently a self-service creche operating from the church foyer for children aged from birth to aged 2 years. A speaker allows parents to hear and participate in the service through the glass divide.

If your toddler needs that bit more space they are welcome to join our children in the large hall after their Bible story, in fun activities and familiarise your child with our Young Church setting.

Please note that sermons are available for listening to through our website (registration required) if you've been with your little one.

Glow and Lighthouse

IMG 2434At present, our preschool years ("Glow") meet together with our primary school years ("Lighthouse") in the upper hall, providing an inclusive environment for children of all ages.

Parents are very welcome to stay with their children in settling them. We start off with a welcome, snack and visual timeline of our plan for the session which typically includes a Bible Story then a choice of three zones to explore the lesson further; 'Explore', 'Creative' and 'Active', understanding that we all connect differently with God. We finish our time in prayer, often using 'Chat and Catch'- a popular model in teaching children to regularly talk to God and teaching them to hear His voice.

Through the Week

Parents and Toddlers

B08B0EEC-4BB1-48DB-BA39-8EC187Children can come to play with toys and their friends, sing, take part in a craft activity and enjoy a snack. Their parents and carers, meanwhile, can have a coffee and chat, and take part in optional organised activities. We meet every Friday during term time from 10.15 - 11.45am.
